"My sophomore year, I joined the PD committee because I wanted to be involved with the planning of the meetings and the speakers. It’s great to be able to reach out to and network with potential speakers that will be able to tell our club members more about what they do in the sports industry. Being on a committee gives me a chance to help the club from behind the scenes. Along with that, I’ve made even better friendships working with a committee than just being a member of the club. I would recommend other SBC members to join a committee because you are able to learn even more from your committee members than just attending the SBC meetings alone." |
